Analytik Jena – ZEEnit Series
ZEEnit adds real value to your laboratory, combining cost-effective operation with rapid and reliable analysis. Especially suited for challenging sample matrices, it delivers accurate results with confidence, making it a standout choice for demanding analytical tasks.
Proven Zeeman Technology
Atomic absorption spectrometry is a well-established method for detecting elements in low to medium concentration ranges. When it comes to trace analysis of toxic elements within complex matrices, the challenge becomes greater. To address this, Analytik Jena has developed the ZEEnit series—reliable analytical instruments built on proven Zeeman AAS technology. The Zeeman background correction employed in these systems is among the most advanced in the field, delivering consistent and accurate results.
The ZEEnit 650 P and ZEEnit 700 P are compact Zeeman AAS spectrometers featuring a high-performance, transversely-heated graphite furnace. Their magnetic field control system allows for flexible adjustments of the field strength—up to one Tesla—offering options such as 2-field, 3-field, and dynamic modes. This adaptability ensures high sensitivity and a broad analytical range. In addition to Zeeman correction, these systems also include powerful deuterium background correction.
The ZEEnit 700 P extends its capabilities with a fully automatic flame mode housed in a second sample compartment, allowing it to handle a wide range of concentrations. Ease of use is a key feature of both instruments, with many processes automated to support efficient operation. The compact design incorporates several integrated components, including an 8-lamp carousel, an RFID system for coded and super hollow cathode lamps, an autosampler for graphite furnace applications with automatic dilution, and a furnace vision tool. Pre-installed methods for common applications and a quick-start function in the software further streamline routine analysis.
Moreover, the combination of direct AAS solid sampling with the ZEEnit graphite furnace significantly reduces the need for extensive sample preparation, making these systems not only powerful but also highly efficient.
Zeeman AAS for Demanding Samples
The ZEEnit series is specifically engineered for routine trace element analysis in challenging sample matrices. These instruments integrate an advanced graphite furnace system with state-of-the-art Zeeman effect background correction and deuterium (D2) background correction, ensuring high accuracy even under demanding conditions.
One of the key features of the ZEEnit systems is the ability to adjust the magnetic field strength across 2-field, 3-field, and dynamic modes. This flexibility provides exceptional sensitivity and extends the linear working range, allowing for precise measurements across a wide concentration spectrum.
To enhance efficiency and user experience, the systems are equipped with intelligent functions such as automatic calibration and sample dilution. A comprehensive range of accessories further supports productivity, safety, and ease of use in the laboratory.
Additionally, the ZEEnit series offers the option to upgrade for direct solid sample analysis, minimizing sample preparation and expanding application possibilities.
